I wish I could tell you that I searched high and low and gathered the most unusual cabbage soup recipes that I could find, but I can make no such claim. I simply took my grandmother’s recipe book and put into digital format what she had written a long time ago.
These recipes are not the cabbage soup diet recipe, but they certainly go a long way to make your staying on the diet more pleasurable and more palatable. A little variety and a few adjustments will keep you on the diet when you find it hard to keep going.
My grandmother loved cabbage soup and was known as a great cook. I learned from her to be flexible and to adapt recipes when a little something was missing. I learned also to follow the general guidelines of a written recipe to get the best results. I love these and my family has always loved them.
